Community Energy River participated from July 2020 to December 2020 in the project “Recycling experience in home life”. The project was implemented by the Hellenic Network Naturefriends Greece with the support of a grant from the Ministry of Culture and Sports and with the synergy of Community Energy River working for the dissemination of energy communities and energy saving, COPOW artists and scientists and with the voluntary support of members of “Friends of Nature”.
The aim was to raise awareness and involve citizens in the prevention and reduction of urban waste, energy saving and to capture their experiences on public goods and sustainable development.
The three digital interactive “tables” recycled everyone’s experience and brought home proposals and actions on urban waste prevention and reduction, energy saving, public goods and sustainable development.
Community Energy River specifically took on the creative design of the energy-saving table. In collaboration with actress Vivi Petsis, an interactive experiential workshop was designed in which participants used their imagination to wander through the electricity distribution and transmission network, learn about secrets and possibilities for saving energy in their homes, discuss, solve questions and share ideas!
